China is pledging to maintain its currency at a "reasonable and balanced level," after the United States refrained from calling Beijing a currency manipulator. In a semi-annual report on the currency of key U.S. trade partners issued Wednesday, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says there is no evidence that any partner had manipulated its exchange rate.
